"In The Beginning"
At the tender age of 15, I, Denise, was introduced to the exciting disc jockey 
business by a friend. My father, papa John, thought this would be a terrific business for our family to experience together. At that time, in 1978, bands were the big draw and mobile disc jockeys were a fairly new industry.

After burning up my mother's home stereo system, papa John started researching the availability of a higher quality of mobile sound equipment. My brother Christopher and I put together a milk crate of albums and a collection of 45 records. With my father's help, equipment was purchased.
We provided music for family gatherings at parks and in backyards. Slowly we gained the confidence to purchase business cards and offer this service to everyone. Our very first paid booking was for an A.A.A. Singles get together. This

One of the intriguing things about Jim was his outgoing personality. He loved people, music and was terrific behind the microphone. After a two year engagement we were married in August, 1985, and had five beautiful children.
Throughout the many years of djing a variety of events, we always were drawn to and felt honored when we were hired for a wedding. We realize the importance of the day to the lives of each and every couple. Working closely and playing such an important role on one of the biggest emotion-filled days in a couples life has built terrific friendships between us and our clients.
Over the years we have developed a passion for the wedding industry and in the last seven years we upgraded to a more efficient, top of the line Bose Sound System. Our music is all MP3 computer based with over 38,000 song titles. Jim became a member and also served on the board of the Southern California American Disc Jockey Association for two years. I took a course with Park Avenue Bride and became a Certified Bridal Consultant.
